1. You may upload videos related to district energy. Anything that is directly related to district energy.


2. You may upload as many videos as you wish.


3. You may only upload videos that you created yourself.


4. Public domain videos will not be accepted.


5. Please make sure that your role/involvement is stated in the video description to avoid accidental deletion.


6. Videos containing ads that are displayed before, during, or after the video will not be accepted .


7.  Videos pertaining to multi-level marketing (MLM), get-rich-quick schemes, cash gifting, work-from-home businesses, or any other dubious money-making ventures will not be accepted.


8. Television stations may not incorporate districtenergytv.com  in their programming redistribution business without  written agreement with Kontinent Film & TV.


9. Videos relating to direct or hidden product promotions or sales videos such as real estate walkthroughs, etc. will not be accepted.


10. You may upload videos of yourself that have been broadcasted on TV as long as you have permission from the broadcast corporation to upload and the video depicts only your involvement in the program.  This permit must be attached by email to: upload@kontinentfilm.com


11. Videos that incite hatred; include defamatory or discriminatory speech; or depict unlawful acts or extreme violence will not be accepted.


12. Any upload of videos that are clips or compilations of scenes from TV programs or movies will not be accepted.


13. Upload of captures of video games or gameplay, even if edited will not be accepted.


14. If strictly related to district energy: video game developers may post videos of their work in development, provided they cite their involvement in the video description. Maps and mods to commercial games as well as commercial video game trailers will not be accepted


15. Accepted upload duration: minimum 30 seconds and maximum 360 seconds. Short videos have the best chance to attract attention. Long ones can sometimes be a bit of a snooze fest and we want many people to watch and enjoy your work.


16. The maximum file size that you can upload to this site is 6GB / video.


17. If you compress your video before uploading, we strongly recommend that you keep a copy of your original uncompressed file just in case that we need to ask you for a less compressed version.


19. If you are looking for some guidance though, here are some specs that should help you out:

- Video Format: mov, mp2, mp4, wmv, flv, avi, 3gpp and webm.

- Video Bitrate: up to 50Mbs.

- Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Our preference is for 16:9 as this is the native ratio of the video player on the website and also looks best on TV

- You can upload films in other aspect ratios should you prefer and we will evaluate the upload quality.

- Frame Rate: minimum 25 frames per second (fps).


20. You can upload your video via the recommended transfer service www.wetransfer.com by following the very simple instructions.

In the “Email to” field please type upload@kontinentfilm.com
